Bifukolla kids

Bifukolla kids pattern is the same as Bifukolla pattern for adults I released earlier this year, now finally available in kids sizes. This pattern is inspired by the dandelion, one of my favorite flowers growing up. I love seeing a Lopapeysa style dandelion pattern, it came together so much better than I could have imagined!

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round.

Sizes (in ages) 1 (2) 4 (6) 8 (10) 12 years old

Body width – Body length – Sleeve length – Sleeve width

Yarn suggestion: Saga Wool or Léttlopi from Istex. If you don’t have access to either then choose a similar yarn that fits the gauge.

Yarn: Icewear Saga wool – 50g skein – 100m

Color A   Old Gold 6035 1(4), 2(4), 4(5), 6(5), 8(6), 10(6), 12(7)

Color B   Toffee 9063 1(1), 2(1), 4(1), 6(1), 8(1), 10(1), 12(1)

Color C   Snow White 1000 1(1), 2(1), 4(1), 6(1), 8(1), 10(2), 12(2)

Gauge
10x10cm = 18 sts and 26 rows on 5mm needles.

Circular needles: 4mm and 5mm, 40 and 60/80 cm (depending on your size)

Double-pointed needles: 4mm and 5mm

NOTE: I knit quite tightly so you may need to use 4,5mm or even 4mm I recommend knitting a swatch to test the tension.
