Hey pattern is now finally available in kids sizes as well as adults. Hey kids pattern comes in sizes 1-10 years old. Hey lopapeysa is a classic and simple Icelandic wool sweater pattern. Hey kids pattern is a great pattern for both beginners as well as experienced knitters.

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round.

1: 56,5 cm – 20 cm – 22 cm – 24 cm
2: 60 cm – 22 cm – 24 cm – 25,5 cm

4: 66,5 cm – 26 cm – 28 cm – 26,5 cm
5: 70 cm – 28 cm – 30 cm – 26,5 cm
6: 73 cm – 30 cm – 32 cm – 28 cm
7: 76,5 cm – 32 cm – 34 cm – 28 cm
8: 80 cm – 34 cm – 36 cm – 29 cm

Yarn suggestion: Léttlopi from Istex. If you don’t have access to either then choose a similar yarn that fits the gauge.

Gauge
10x10cm = 18 sts and 26 rows on 5mm needles.

Circular needles: 4mm and 5mm, 40 and 60/80 cm (depending on your size)

Double-pointed needles: 4mm and 5mm

NOTE: I knit quite tightly so you may need to use 4,5mm or even 4mm I recommend knitting a swatch to test the tension.
