Fellsfjara kids

Fellsfjara pattern is already available in adult sizes and is now finally available in kids sizes as well. Fellsfjara pattern it surprisingly easy to follow and it’s also possible to skip the colorwork on the sleeves and body, for less work.

Fellsfjara sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round.

Sizes (in ages) 2 (4) 6 (8) 10 (12) years old

Body width – Body length – Sleeve length – Sleeve width

Yarn suggestion: Icewear Saga wool or Léttlopi from Istex. If you don’t have access to either then choose a similar yarn that fits the gauge.

Yarn: Icewear Saga wool or Léttlopi – 50g skein – 100m

Color A Oatmeal 2(3), 4(3), 6(3), 8(4), 10(5), 12(5)
Color B Brown 2(3), 4(3), 6(4), 8(4), 10(4), 12(5)
Color C White 2(2), 4(3), 6(3), 8(3), 10(4), 12(4)

Gauge
10x10cm = 18 sts and 26 rows on 5mm needles.

Circular needles: 4mm and 5mm, 40 and 60/80 cm (depending on your size)

Double-pointed needles: 4mm and 5mm

NOTE: I knit quite tightly so you may need to use 4,5mm or even 4mm I recommend knitting a swatch to test the tension.
