Description
Krumla pattern is a minimal and simple design of a traditional Icelandic wool sweater. The pattern is made for Álafosslopi, making Krumla sweater extra warm and cozy! When I saw these colors next to each other in my yarn stash, this pattern just came to me! I absolutely love the simplicity of my Krumla Lopapeysa.
Krumla sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round, if you are used to knitting top down, the pattern is easy to follow the other way around if you prefer.

Yarn: Istex Álafosslopi – 100g skein – 100 m

Colour B Black 0059 XXS(1), XS(1), S(1), M(1), L(1), XL(1), XXL(1), 3XL(1), 4XL(2), 5(2)

Gauge
10x10cm = 13 sts and 18 rows on 7mm needles.
Circular needles: 7mm and 6mm, 40 and 60/80 cm (depending on your size)
Double-pointed needles: 7mm and 6mm
Note that the pattern is knitted in the round, so it‘s good to knit the swatch in the round as well.
NOTE: I knit quite tightly so you may need to use a smaller needle size. I recommend knitting a swatch to test the tension.
