Rok

Description

Rok pattern is a traditional Icelandic Wool sweater style I’m calling Rok, it means wind/windy in Icelandic. This was my first ever pattern design! It took me so many try’s and I almost gave up! Plötulopi isn’t the best yarn to use when you might have to frog many times, but I’m so happy I kept going and ended up with this pattern! I choose the name Rok because it’s almost always windy here in Iceland and therefore the wool sweater is the perfect piece of clothing to wear here.

Rok sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round, if you are used to knitting top down, the pattern is easy to follow the other way around if you prefer.
