Description

This pattern is inspired by the Sitkagreni tree, my favorite Christmas tree. I already have this pattern available in adult sizes and now it’s finally available as well in kids sizes.

 

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round.

1:   53 cm      –    20 cm     –      22 cm    –   24 cm
2:   59 cm      –    22 cm     –      24 cm    –   25,5 cm
3:   64 cm      –    24 cm     –      26 cm    –   27 cm
4:   70 cm      –     26 cm     –     28 cm    –   28 cm
6:   73 cm      –     30 cm     –     32 cm    –   28 cm
8:   80 cm      –     33 cm      –    35 cm    –   28 cm
10: 84 cm      –     36 cm     –     38 cm    –   29 cm
12: 80 cm      –     38 cm     –     44 cm    –   30 cm

 

Yarn suggestion: Icewear Saga wool or Léttlopi from Istex. If you don’t have access to either then choose a similar yarn that fits the gauge.

 

Yarn: Icewear Saga wool – 50g skein – 100m

Color A   Peach 2109 1(4), 2(4), 3(4), 4(5), 6(5), 8(6), 10(7), 12(7)

Color B   Coffee 9066 1(1), 2(1), 3(1), 4(1), 6(1), 8(1), 10(2), 12(2)

 

 

Gauge
10x10cm = 18 sts and 26 rows on 5mm needles.

Circular needles: 4mm and 5mm, 40 and 60/80 cm (depending on your size)

Double-pointed needles: 4mm and 5mm

 

NOTE: I knit quite tightly so you may need to use 4,5mm or even 4mm I recommend knitting a swatch to test the tension.
