Vegvísir
Description
This pattern is inspired by the an old Icelandic stave Vegvísir, was intended to help protect you and help finding a way through rough weather. I thought that would be a perfect fit for an Icelandic wool sweater.
The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round. A few of my test knitters did however knit their sweaters from top to bottom. As the pattern is easy to follow, you can simply start at the neck and follow it down if you prefer to knit top to bottom.
